Bach in the Subways

FREE EVENT!
Doors open at 3pm.

As part of the global Bach in the Subways movement, local musicians will present a program entirely of the music of JS Bach. This performance aligns with the mission of Bach in the Subways which is to bring the music of JS Bach into public each year around his birthday without charge. The program will feature Kirsten Lipkens, oboe, Sarah Briggs, violin, Chris Devine, violin, and other area professionals and young string students and will conclude with a collaborative performance of Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 in G Major, BWV 1048. This performance is a prelude event to the UMass Amherst Bach Festival & Symposium, which takes place at

UMass Amherst in April.
