basher walks the line between extended creative improvisation and dance-crazed party music by way of two saxophones, analog synthesizers and two drumsets. Led by saxophonist and composer Byron Asher and based out of New Orleans, basher has been playing listening rooms, dive bars, night clubs and train tunnels across the South since 2017 and is fresh off a performance at New Orleans' Smoothie King Center arena performing an NBA halftime show. The new album Doubles is out this summer (2022) on New Orleans based Sinking City Records. This show will include DJ sets by basher, Bobby Ganache, and LoSax (DJ+sax man combo.)
