J Mascis and his mysterious rhythm section of Pete Cougar and Johnny Pancake return with a new HEAVY BLANKET album called 'Moon Is' (Outer Battery Records). It's been eleven years since the release of the eponymous self titled debut and this sophomore album picks up where that left off. J's signature guitar tone wails over relentless driving bass and drums, delivering a heavy dose of hard Rock instrumentals. Drums & Bass for the performance will be provided by Sunburned Hand of the Man's John Moloney & Robert Thomas.

Willie Lane
Willie Lane is a New Salem guitar player whose style is indebted to fingerstyle folk and blues, ballroom lead excursions, and flangers. Recently he has added singing to the mix. Lane also performs as a duo with multi-instrumentalist Wednesday Knudsen (Pigeons), and has previously played with MV & EE and Scratch Ticket.
