Hotline TNT is the most 90s band of the 21st century so far. It is a grungy pop music group of no certain allegiance or denomination. The band has always been intended for fans of all generations, but many fans are forced to watch the band behind their parents' back. Their records have been removed from the most popular streaming service, but remain easy to find, toeing a fragile line between luddite in-person interactions and the very online Discord servers. Many people who come across their early 7"s immediately turn them into weapons, but they have nonetheless pushed forward, unleashing three full length LPs ( 2021’s Nineteen In Love on Smoking Room, 2023’s Cartwheel and 2025’s Raspberry Moon both courtesy of Third Man Records), a Euro-exclusive EP (When You Find Out), and a handful of cassingles, mixtapes and compilations in the wake of the novel coronavirus pandemic. As the second Trump administration dawned on the United States, an as-yet-untitled 4th album has begun pre-production.
Caramia & the Breakdown, winner of WMUA’s Battle of the Bands, will open the show.
First came lead singer Caramia Pozzi’s debut album Strings. Then came Caramia & The Breakdown. A 5-piece pop-rock band that united to bring these songs to life. Pairing their heartfelt originals with high energy covers delivers a fresh blend of sounds to a variety of different audiences. Caramia & The Breakdown have built a strong local following and have since branched out around the northeast, and are continuing to widen their horizons. Soon set to record their first song as a band, Caramia & The Breakdown are constantly growing creatively, and building their image with each performance.
