Les Dérailleurs bring the post-punk party! Formed in Western Mass when things seemed off the rails, they use quick changing, fast, loud, propulsive songs to charge ahead.
This Drake concert celebrates the 7th anniversary of their first show, which was at the 2017 Anti-Inauguration Party at Flywheel in Easthampton. It features a guest appearance by Steve Waksman, who was part of the first gathering of Dérailleurs members, at a Bowie tribute in January 2016 at the Ashfield Lakehouse.
Gold Dust
Gold Dust is a band based in Western Massachusetts driven by Stephen Pierce’s (of Ampere/Kindling) eternal exploration of instrument-driven music. Personal lyrics have delved into the shared pain of living in a world destroyed by our pleasure and convenience. A recent turn has Stephen mining the lore of his region and leading the band toward the folk traditions that predate recorded music. The band, made up of Ally Einbinder (Potty Mouth) on rhythm guitar, Adam Reid (Nanny/In-Betweens) on drums and Sean Greene (The Van Pelt) on bass, bring a sensibility mutually formed in the DIY punk and indie scenes they each came up in. A third album titled “I was a Storm” is due out in the coming months on Centripetal Force.
