We are so excited to announce that music and the performing arts are coming to downtown Amherst. The Drake is planning to open THIS WINTER 2022!

The Drake will be an economic destination builder with a focus on community, Arts and Culture, and global world touring music, poetry, comedy, and more!

For decades the Amherst Community has asked for, begged for, and sought out a space for a live performance and music venue. The Amherst BID and the Downtown Amherst Foundation have listened and are ready to build for the future! Arts and Culture will be the economic and destination driver Amherst needs to head into 2022. Our first project toward building Amherst as a destination for locals and visitors alike: The Drake: Live Performance and Music Venue

The Drake is run by the Downtown Amherst Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit that was founded to bring Arts and Culture to the Amherst Area.
