Tem Blessed is a socially conscious Hip Hop Artist who has been making relevant music with a message for over a decade. Born in Guinea-Bissau, West Africa to Cape Verdean parents,  He is a graduate of UMass Amherst and has worked to empower youth.  Designed to inspire the audience toward positive change and global responsibility his music and message are about social justice and sustainability. 

Tem Blessed has shared the stage with national recording artists Common, KRS-1, Paul Stookey (from Peter Pat and Paul), and Ludacris. Tem Blessed is part of the Blest Energy band. Tem recently released an afro futuristic graphic novel titled Planeta Blu - Rise of Agoo, published by Dark Horse Comics. This 272-page visual masterpiece is designed to encourage and inspire young adults to dream big and work towards saving humanity through themes of compassion, sacrifice, determination, and love.  

Tem Blessed and Cita Light were among the first ever performers inside at the Drake, then under-construction.
